Ready to build strength, confidence, and great movement habits this summer? Introducing the 12-Week Youth Strength & Conditioning Program with The Cheer Doctor—designed specifically for cheerleaders ages 9–11.
Athletes will train in a fun, structured, and supportive group environment with in-person workouts 1–4x per week from May 31–August 21, focusing on foundational strength, coordination, balance, and safe movement patterns.
Class Times:
• Sun: 12-1pm, Tuesday: 12-1pm (Primary Trainer: Dr. Maria Wisman, PT)
• Wed: 12-1pm, Thurs: 12-1pm (Primary Trainer: Mallory Strickland, Purdue Cheerleader)
• Sat: 11-12 (Primary Trainer: Kaelyn Wagner, Ashland Cheerleader)
Trainers may occasionally rotate due to scheduling. All sessions follow The Cheer Doctor training and supervision standards.
Classes capped at 8 athletes. Classes will be crossed out when full.
What to Expect:
In-Person Youth Strength Training led by Dr. Maria Wisman, PT, or Purdue Cheerleader Mallory Strickland
Full-body workouts focused on:
Bodyweight strength
Basic resistance training
Balance, coordination, and core control
Jumping and landing mechanics
Age-appropriate movements with progressions based on experience and readiness
Emphasis on safety, confidence, and long-term athletic development
Make-up classes are allowed within the program timeline.
