(For athletes 12 and older)
Ready to get stronger this summer? Introducing the $500 12-Week Transformation Challenge with The Cheer Doctor—a strength & conditioning program designed to help cheerleaders become more powerful, confident athletes on and off the mat.
Train alongside a motivated group of cheerleaders in in-person lifting sessions 1–5x per week from May 31–August 21.
Class times:
• Sun–Fri 11:00–12:00 (Sun-Tues Primary Trainer: Dr. Maria Wisman, PT; Weds-Fri Primary Trainer: Purdue Cheerleader, Mal Strickland)
• Mon/Wed/Fri 4:30–5:30 (Primary Trainer: Mal Strickland)
Trainers may occasionally rotate due to scheduling. All trainers follow The Cheer Doctor program and supervision standards
Classes capped at 8 athletes. Classes will be crossed out when full.
What to expect:
In-Person Strength Training led by PT and former OSU & USA Cheerleader Dr. Maria Wisman and Purdue Cheerleader & Strength Coach Mallory Strickland. All workouts will be full body with a different movement focus.
Sun/Wed: Bench + Squat
Mon/Fri: Clean & Jerk
Tue/Thu: Snatch
Movements will be modified based on athlete experience level and technique
Strength & Conditioning App to track lifts and progress
Cheer Doctor Resource Vault with guest speakers (college coaches, dietitians, sport psychs & more)
Transformation Contest — submit a video for a chance to win $500
Make-up classes allowed within the program timeline.
